Propices à la flânerie ou à l'observation de la nature, les sites naturels de la Communauté de communes invitent à prendre l'air.
Étang de Marcillé-Robert
Le plan d’eau départemental de 92 ha abrite une réserve ornithologique de 60 ha.
L’étang attire des migrateurs (oies cendrées, spatules blanches, balbuzards pêcheurs…) et des nicheurs (râle d’eau, vanneau huppé…). Une hutte d’observation permet de les contempler à loisir.
La flore est caractéristique des marais (iris, roseau à massette…).
L’étang est alimenté par 2 cours d’eau (l’Ardenne et La Seiche).
Le site fait partie des espaces naturels sensibles d’Ille-et-Vilaine.
En profiter : ornithologie, observation de la faune et de la flore (hutte d’observation route de la Guerche-de-Bretagne), promenade (sentier), détente.

Étang de la forge à Martigné-Ferchaud
Plan d’au départemental de 109 ha qui abrite une réserve ornithologique.
S’y observent canards siffleurs, sarcelles d’hiver, mouettes rieuses, canards colvert, poules d’eau, bécassines des marais…
La végétation qui borde l’étang (pleuplier noir, saule roux-cendré, chêne pédonculé… ) compte quelques espèces protégées.
En profiter : ornithologie, observation de la faune et de la flore, promenade (sentier), détente.

Marcillé-Robert Pond
A lake of 92 ha shelters an ornithological reserve of 60 ha.
The pond appeals to migratory birds ( …) and nesters (…). An observation hut is available to observe them for as long as you want.
The flora is typical of that found in swamps (…)
The pond is fed by rivers (l’Ardenne et La Seiche)
The site belongs to the sensitive natural sites of «Ile et Vilaine »

The park is surrounded by woods, orchards and meadows where Mulassier du Poitou horses and Highland cattle are grazing.
